Skype's Co-Founder Plans Free Internet For Everyone
A pair of wireless internet startups have been making waves lately with a plan that might change the way you access the internet. LightSquared, an internet wholesaler who has been creating a nationwide 4G LTE network that they say will reduce customers' data bills by as much as 50%, has teamed up with FreedomPop to try and provide free wireless access to everyone in the U.S. FreedomPop is backed by Skype co-founder Niklas Zennstrom, so they have some measure of legitimacy, but exactly how they plan to provide internet to everyone (which costs money) for no cost (which does not earn money) is unclear.
The best guess at the moment is that FreedomPop's business model will be closer to the old Juno or NetZero model, where ad revenue replaced subscription costs for an internet connection. Of course, that service ended up being cluttered, slow, and eventually had to put a cap on the amount of free internet users could get per month. If LightSquared's network does what they say it will, then it is possible that FreedomPop's expenses could be low enough that they wouldn't need an enormous amount of revenue to provide some level of internet access for all, but I'm guessing this won't be the fastest or most pleasant way to get around the web.
Also, there's reason to wonder if LightSquared will even get off the ground at all. Part of their system uses a frequency that is very close to those used by most GPS receivers, and that could cause soem problems. According to leaked info from government testing, LightSquared's towers cause GPS interference up to 75% of the time - more than enough to agencies to express concern over whether or not their network can move forward. LightSquared says that the data is incomplete, but unless something changes substantially before the final report is released, LightSquared (and thus FreedomPop) may never become operational.

Lady Gaga Fears Dying like Princess Di?
A new report claims that Lady Gaga fears that she will die tragically like Princess Diana. The pop superstar reportedly has visions and dreams of being killed "at the hands of crazies" and it haunts her daily. However, the report is not entirely true.
A rep for Gaga hasFile:Lady Gaga Born This Way GMA.jpg debunked those rumors, saying that the singer is not infatuated with the death of the late Princess. "The report about the singer's supposed preoccupation with Diana's death, are both 'not true,'" a rep tells Gossip Cop.
You have to imagine that many celebrities think about the death of Diana and the frenzy that paparazzi cause on a regular basis. Sometimes being famous comes with a price and while many celebs try to stay safe, photogs don't always make it easy. That said, it doesn't sound like Lady Gaga is "obsessed" with the notion of dying like Diana, but that doesn't mean the thought has never crossed her mind.
Tabloid We share a great commitment: Angelina Jolie
Actor-couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have no plans to marry despite their kids asking them to as they feel that they already share the greatest commitment a couple can possibly have.
Jolie, 36, admitted to being pressurised by her six kids to take the plunge. In an interview with
Nightline, Jolie revealed that the kids wanted them to marry as “people get married in the movies”.
“They have asked because people get married in the movies. Shrek and Fiona are married, you know?” the Daily Mail quoted her as saying in the interview.
“We’ve explained to them that our commitment, when we decided to start a family was the greatest commitment you could possibly have. “Once you have six children you're committed,” she added.

MANCHESTER United and Manchester City both crashed out of the Champions League.
United lost 2-1 at Basel in Group C with Socceroo's midfielder Scott Chipperfield coming on as a late substitution for the Swiss side while City were eliminated despite beating Bayern Munich 2-0.
Their fate in Group A was sealed when rivals Napoli beat Villarreal 2-0 in Spain.
Six years to the day since United last bade farewell at the group stage, following a 2-1 loss at Benfica, last year's beaten finalists were undone by goals in each half from Marco Streller and Alexander Frei.
Despite needing just a point to go through from Group C, Sir Alex Ferguson's side fell to their first away defeat in the group phase in five years, but not before Phil Jones' late goal had given them a vain glimmer of hope.
Victory allowed Basel to book their place in the last 16 for the first time since 2002-03, while for United, who had reached three of the past four finals, there is the unwelcome consolation of the Europa League.

E! presenter Giuliana Rancic to have breast surgically removed after cancer diagnosis
The 37yr old E! News presenter revealed during an interview on The Today Show, that she will have her breast surgically removed after doctors failed to 'get all the cancer out' when she underwent a double lumpectomy to remove cancerous growths in both breasts, last month.
She explained her decision:
To be honest, all it came down to was choosing to live and not looking over my shoulder for the rest of my life. It could have come back more aggressively next time, so for me it was just more important to get the cancer out.
With the double mastectomy I now have less than one per cent chance of getting it back, otherwise it was 20, 30 or 40 per cent chance and for me it wasn't worth it.
Giuliana was diagnosed with breast cancer a few months ago. God be with her!
Suspected ritualists dump baby in Festac swamp. Hands bound, baby organs removed
I am about to spoil your day...and I am sorry...but y'all need to see this. My goodness, some people will not die well, I swear! Read the story below, as reported by Sunnewsonline
Who are the parents of the baby girl that was dumped in a swamp by suspected ritualists at 6th Avenue, Festac, Lagos, on Monday?
This is the question agitating the minds of hundreds of people who besieged the area to catch a glimpse of the unfortunate baby. The bizarre act was carried out at about 12noon.
A close look at the baby whose arms were tied, revealed that her upper region was ripped open and some organs removed. Her mouth was also stuffed with some materials or items apparently used for the rituals.
The uncensored photo when you continue...but please be warned that the photo is gruesome, heartbreaking, and so painful to look at...if you don't have the heart, don't continue...
The suspected ritualists came in six cars and were about 15 men and a woman.
A source told Daily Sun that he saw the people who arrived the scene in their cars and became curious. “I saw when they carried something and entered into the bush. I wanted to challenge them but I was afraid, because they were many. Immediately they left after some minutes, I entered into the bush, where I saw a little baby whose hands were tied. We later invited policemen from Festac.
Similar sacrifice was performed at the same place, the same period last year. We decided to monitor their activities this year. We are really worried about this ugly development,” he said.
Policemen from Festac later visited the scene and took pictures of the baby.
When the Daily Sun called the command’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Samuel Jinadu, to comment on the incident, he did not pick his calls.
A source at the Area ‘E’ Police Command Festac, who confirmed the incident said the headquarters had been duly informed.
Unlock 3G Modem:Unlock MTN Fastlink,Unlock Huawei Modems,Make Modem Works With Any Network
Are you using a 3G modem that has been locked and you will like to be using it with any other SIM
card of other networks? Well, you can easily unlock it and turn it to a Universal 3G Modem.
Most 3G modems including MTN Fastlink, Glo 3G Dongle, Zain Data card are all locked to the network of their providers. This really sucks... If for example you are using MTN Fastlink modem and there is network problem, you will not be able to access the internet at all because you will not be able to use any other SIM card with your modem.
With many softwares out there, you can now unlock your 3G modem, which eventually turns it to a Universal modem. This will enable you to use the modem with any network you want, hence, it will save you the headache of thinking of how to get money to buy modems of other internet providers.
UPDATE: You can now unlock the modems with these softwares.
If you want to be making money unlocking modems phones and modems for people, then, you can buy any of the two but if you just want to unlock your own modem, it won't make sense because of the price tags.
So, How Do I Unlock?
To unlock your modem, the unlocker will need the IMEI number of your modem. You can easily find this on the paper pack of your modem. If you don't know the IMEI number, the unlocking box or any unlocking software can AUTODETECT it for you if the modem is connected to the unlocking box.
Once you supply your IMEI number to the unlocking box or you connect your modem to it, it will generate your UNLOCKING CODE for you.
Once you have the unlocking code, write it or save it somewhere.
Then, insert ANOTHER SIM card (apart from the original network that originally works with it) into
your modem. You will be prompted with a bar to fill in the Unlock code. (It usually gives 10 attempts). Just input the Unlock Code. That's All.
Thereafter, you can be inserting any SIM card of any network you want to use. All you have to do is to create a new profile and input the settings for the network and connect to the internet.
There is no side-effect since we are not going to use a HAMMER or STONE to unlock it...lol...

Cleric advocates death penalty for same sex marriage
Malam Abdulkadir Apaokagi, an Abuja-based Islamic scholar, on Sunday in Abuja, called for death penalty for same sex marriage in Nigeria.
Apaokagi in a sermon at the weekly prayer session of Nasrul –lahi-L-Fatih Society of Nigeria (NASFAT), said gays in Nigeria were perverts who did not deserve to co-exist with right thinking and decent people.
He said gays were worse than murderers, and deserve stiffer penalty than those accused of killing fellow human beings.
“Homosexuality and lesbianism are just too dirty in the sight of Allah, those who engage in them deserve more than capital punishment. When they are killed, their corpse should also be mistreated.”
Apaokagi, who is the deputy chief Imam at the Abuja branch of NASFAT, said in his lecture entitled: “The position of Islam on gay marriage” that gay people were mentally unstable and could bring severe instability to the society in which they lived.
“None of them can pass a psychiatric test, because they are not normal,” he said.
The scholar’s sermon came against the background of a recent law passed by the Senate banning same-sex marriage and public display of affection by gays in Nigeria.
The bill, “Same Sex Marriage (Prohibition) bill 2011” also prescribed 14 years jail sentence for convicted gays in Nigeria.
Quoting from the Quran, Apaokagi hailed the Senate for passing the law, saying that Allah decreed marriages only between members of the opposite sex.
“Any society that tolerates gay marriage would come to destruction the way God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for sodomy.
“They are criminals, Allah Himself describes them so, and it is great that the Senate has criminalised what they are trying to do.”
He urged the House of Representatives to take a cue from the Senate, and pass its own version of the bill without delay so that President Goodluck Jonathan could sign a harmonised version into law.
Apaokagi also urged Nigerians to ignore criticisms from the West, and come together as one to fight practices that might bring destruction to the country.

For many people who wants to enroll in colleges or universities to further their education, you will agree with me that tuition can be a make or break factor in the final decision. What if there are colleges where you do not have to pay any tuition fee? Well, there are many schools around the world that do just that.
You do not have to pay any tuition to attend tuition-Free schools, though there are still some expenses involved, such as room & board, books, etc. This can be covered in most cases, as many tuition free schools allow students to work while in school.
A lot of tuition free schools are in Europe, where this educational scheme has a long and successful history. As at the time of writing this article, there are many schools in Sweden, Norway, Finland that offer free tuition for undergraduate courses as well as for Masters and Doctorate degrees.
As at the time of writing this article, online registration for Masters Program in Sweden opens around first week of December and closes around second week of January, every year. Your documents must arrive no later than first week of February, Selection results/Notification of admission: Early May and semester starts August or September. Central Florida News 13 Catholic Church: C is for chastity, not condom
The Catholic Church says there is another “C” that’s more effective in curbing the spread of the deadly HIV-AIDS virus: Chastity, not condoms.
Manila Auxiliary Bishop Broderick Pabillo on Sunday said the Church was advocating chastity and fidelity among couples as the best way to stop the spread of the sexually transmitted HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) in the country.
“There is a need to educate the people about chastity to avoid irresponsible sexual behavior and fidelity to one’s spouse or family,” said Pabillo following the formation of a giant human “AIDS Ribbon” at the University of Sto. Tomas in Manila Sunday.
World health authorities recently said the Philippines was one of the few remaining countries in the world where the HIV-AIDS virus was still on the rise. In a report released in time for World AIDS Day on December 1, the World Health Organization credited strong preventive measures—mainly through safe sex campaigns advocating the use of condoms—for the epidemic’s declining trend.
The influential local Catholic Church, however, is against the use of artificial contraceptives like condoms, and is also campaigning against sex education in schools.
The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines’ National Secretariat for Social Action, chaired by Pabillo, said the Church was nonetheless doing its part in the anti-AIDS campaign

Maradona takes another swipe at Pele
DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP)—Diego Maradona took another swipe at Pele on Thursday, saying the former Brazil great must have taken the “wrong medication” when he suggested that Neymar was better than Lionel Messi.
Speaking in Dubai, Maradona acknowledged that Neymar—the young Brazilian striker playing for his native club Santos—was good, but insisted he would never be able to match Messi, the Argentina playmaker who netted his 16th league goal of the season for Barcelona this week.
Maradona, who coaches Al Wasl, has been at loggerheads with Pele for years. The two sparred last year when Pele criticized Maradona’s coaching of Argentina during the 2010 World Cup.
Pele has said that Neymar was “technically” better than Messi, but that the Brazilian has a lot to prove if he wants to be considered the best player in the world one day. That didn’t sit well with Maradona, who is currently the coach of the United Arab Emirates club Al Wasl.
“It seems Pele took the wrong medication,” Maradona said, when told of Pele’s comments. “Instead of taking his night pill, he took the morning pill. He got confused and didn’t know what he was talking about … I suggest next time he take the right pills before making any suggestions and that he should change his doctor.”
Maradona arrived back in Dubai on Friday after burying his mother Dalma Salvadora Franco de Maradona in Argentina. He said that while he was going through “a very sad moment” in his life, he never considered staying behind in Argentina after the funeral.
“It was a very emotional time,” Maradona said. “But as soon as I buried my mother, the first thought that came to my mind was coming back to team. I owe it to them. They showed me a lot of support. They are showing excellent form.”
